Brasserie Max's Sake Martini – Recipe

For something a little unexpected, sample this refined martini-inspired drink. It is delicate, fragrant and easy to sip, and complements small pieces of parmesan.

Japanese-Inspired Martini

Makes a single portion

30ml gin – a quality London dry gin is ideal

15ml Lillet Blanc – an aromatic French aperitif wine

15ml sake – select a smooth, medium-bodied variety

Combine the gin, Lillet Blanc, and sake in a cocktail shaker, add a big handful of ice cubes and stir thoroughly for 30 seconds to cool. Strain into a well-chilled martini glass and serve.
