A previous senior officer of the UK's air and space warfare centre will provide findings next month on how the publicly-supported center can optimally help the scope of official artificial intelligence goals in defense, national security and information gathering.

The center's head, a previous Amazon UK leader, confirmed that 78 different research projects at the center employing hundreds have been closed, spun out or finished because they do not align with the new direction.
